Use this guide to find the right replacement pivot hinge for an aluminum storefront door. Pacific Doorware sells replacement pivots in the style of the major storefront systems. Each pivot set comes in four options: left hand or right hand, in Aluminum or Dark Bronze (Duronotic) finish.

How to match your pivot

Take your old pivot (or a photo of it) and compare it to the photos below. Check the overall shape of the top and bottom pivot, the pattern of the mounting screw holes in the door and frame plates, and the size of the pivot pin. If it looks the same, order that style. If you cannot tell, send us a photo or call (360) 836-1635.

Frequently asked questions

How do I tell if I need a left hand or right hand pivot?

Stand on the side the door swings toward you (for most storefront doors, this is the outside). Look at the edge of the door where the pivots are. If the pivots are on your left, it is a right hand door. If they are on your right, it is a left hand door. If your door swings away from you when you open it, call us before ordering so we can confirm the hand.

Not sure? Call us at (360) 836-1635 or send a photo.

What finishes are available?

Aluminum (clear) and Dark Bronze (Duronotic). Choose both hand and finish before adding to cart.

Do I need the top and bottom pivot or only one?

If only the bottom pivot is worn, order the bottom pivot alone. If both are worn, the top and bottom pivot set is the better value.

Where do orders ship from?

Orders ship from our warehouse in Brush Prairie, Washington.

Who do I contact to confirm fit?

Call (360) 836-1635 or use the contact page. Tell us the door manufacturer and which pivot is worn, and we will help you find the right part.
